it is fun because you can play with multi players and there are 6 diffrent stories that are hard wich makes it fun and i completed 4 stories and one close to being done.oh yeah plus you can create diffrent units and unlock secret heros and buy new units and the minikits help you get some cool characters and you get to use them like a example like agent chase plus 6 diffrent stories and red bricks give you a big help like invincable hero, but i don’t get super exlplosins so i don’t use it, show minikit,and show red bricks wich i love!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

As other reviewers have stated, this game is nothing like the other LEGO games. If you’re looking for the next LEGO star wars, indiana jones, or batman this is not it. I bought it for my 5 year old who loves the other games and I have already returned it for credit.

I was excited when I heard about this game for the DS. Lego? I’m in. RTS? I’m in! Choose between Pirates, Castles, Space? I’m so in!
The RTS strat missions are cute and this is good for a young kid as a primer for RTS games. But the gameplay is too simplistic for an adult. The missions take about 1 minute to complete for someone who has played the entire warcraft/starcraft battle chest. The rest of the time you will find yourself plodding around the map “searching” for blue lego studs which are buried under patches of trees. Granted, I am only half way through story mode. I am assuming the free play mode is a little more fun. But it seems like with the special red bricks which give you cheat like abilities, it is just too easy to beat every single level. And then once your mission is complete you are stuck looking for blue studs it’s just too B-O-R-I-N-G.
I am not giving it a 1 as there is lots to do and it’s fun to play vs other bad ports to DS. And I knew it was a real time strategy game going in. But they could have brought the challenge level up a bit. It gets a mediocre 3 stars.

(Son) Its a cool game. I enjoy playing it.
(Father) I read through the directions with him and watched him play it. He’s eight and the strategy and detail seems right for his age. Keep that in mind if considering the game for yourself. I’ll probable sit down and play this one when I get the chance. However, I don’t believe it was intended for older groups but I still believe it will be fun.
